From 1930 to 1973, the Cornwallis Inn was a mecca for social events in Nova Scotia. As a Dominion Atlantic Railroad hotel, it represented the glory days of railway travel in Canada. A formidable Tudoresque building of concrete and masonry construction, it was considered one of the most architecturally beautiful hotels in Canada. It contained ninety guest rooms, including four luxury suites, and ten sample rooms for commercial travellers. This iconic hotel is home to the Maritime Express Cider Co.'s retail and tasting room!
