Stoodley, TAS, 7306 AU / TAS
Stoodley Forest is an experimental forest planted by Forestry Tasmania (now known as Sustainable Timber Tasmania) in the 1940s to test for viable species. It has good stands of Douglas Fir, European Beech, and Radiata Pine including one of this species which is over 60 metres tall. There is also an example of Sequoia gigancea. This area is managed by Forestry Tasmania.
