Mt William National Park is the northern section of the Bay of Fires - in the far north east of Tasmania. Long white-sand beaches, granite rocks covered in orange lichen, coastal heathland and woodlands are inhabited by a wide variety of animals. Forester kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas, Tasmanian devils, black cockatoos, shorebirds all live in the park which is quiet apart from school holiday times.
