Dune-backed, secluded beach. This area is a mixture of heath, grassland and a beach that's both sand and shingle. It one of the wilder and more spacious beaches in Suffolk, with coarse sand and grassy dunes. The harbour features a wooden footbridge across the River Blythe, and a sloping pier with access to the Southwold foot ferry. Public toilets are situated nearby.
