Ipswich, ENGLAND, IP2 0BP GB / ENGLAND
Striking mansion house, owned by Ipswich Borough Council and currently occupied by the Sue Ryder Foundation. The structure is a fine example of Italianate domestic architecture that dominated country house design in England from 1840s to the 1860s. In the past it has been used as a friendship centre, convalescent home and since 1992 has been leased by the Sue Ryder Foundation as a home for those with complex neurological needs. It is visually striking and surrounded by well kept and picturesque park gardens.
