Location Description

Rich nature reserve particularly notable for its high density of bird life. The reservoir is the hub of the reserve, acting as a refuge for wildfowl and marginal nesting birds, and as the storage and distribution point for the reserve’s water. The lagoon and its islands provide a variety of habitats throughout the year. There is a visitors centre and a car park 2km from the entrance.
