Location Description
Manor Farm dates from the 15th and 16thC. It has a Jacobean staircase and is heavily beamed with inglenook fireplaces in both main rooms. There is panelling in the hall, and one upstairs room is painted panelling. It is set in 10 acres of grassland and mature trees. It is approached along a single track lane via a bridge made from railway sleepers (Large vehicles have to stop at the bridge). The old approach to the house is via Hall Lane across bridal ways. There are no roads nearby. A large traditional Suffolk barn is next to the house with a stackyard, outbuildings and open cartlodges around it. Further up the track is a barn converted into a two bedroom holiday cottage which would be fantastic for crew accommodation. The barn was used last year for a village pantomime so is shown with audience seated and also empty.
