Beautiful California Ranch Style Lake House located in the Lakeview Mountain Estates subdivision Map 047D, Parcel number 003.00 of DeKalb County in the town of Smithville, TN also known as the Center Hill Lake area of TN. House is available for movie or music video rental and is only one hour east of Nashville off of exit 273 on Interstate 40. It is right near the beautiful Center Hill Lake which is like a hidden paradise. This property is located close to Hurricane Harbor Marina which is a great vacation spot in Middle Tennessee, Home of the Smithville Jamboree in the summer, great for renting house boats or boats for skiing and water tubing across the lake. It's been one of Allen Jackson's home locations as well as Aaron Tippon's. This location or close by location was also used for filming the movie "Walk the Line" about Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. It is a secluded hidden paradise that not many people know about. This town has been discovered by chance by so many people that ended up laying roots here after speaking with several locals who have lived here several decades, and also new locals who have put down roots here in the last ten years to the present. Smithville is still such a remote location or town that the joke between people who have settled in the town is "How did you end up in Smithville, TN?" The answers seem to be the same amongst all, that they discovered this hidden paradise by chance whether it be the present day reason, or other locals who were born here and their grandparents discovered the town after the war passing through, and they liked it for several reasons and built their home here. The town of Smithville still has a "Mayberry" feel and the town square keeps it original historic preservation which include the court house building, the old Rexall drug store, Fluty's Western Wear, several antique shops, and old barber shops. The main revenue for the town comes from the local factories, the nursery's and farms, the Smithville Jamboree attraction in the summer, along with the booming lake house and boat rentals during the spring and summer months, and the food and music at the marinas. My home is available for rental of films and videos and has a unique look that a movie producer would probably like for filming. It was built in 2001, and has been remodeled and updated in 2010. It is located in a wooded area that is secluded and has a 3/4 acre lot, but the land surrounding is also available for use as well. People like to ride 4-wheelers up the hill where empty lots sits at top where you can see the entire lake. It has deer and squirrels and is very peaceful year round. People are allowed to fire rifles and shot guns in this area, as it's located in the county. My house has a California Ranch style look on the inside and out. I would love to rent out anytime as a way to pay off debt and supplement my full-time income. I would even be willing to allow small damage such as bullet holes, changing paint, or storage of my furniture and personal items during filming and allowing any alterations as needed for filming. I think this house is perfect for almost any type of movie and great for country music videos, I have access to horses down the street through a friend that can be rented from him as well. I also think this would be a great hidden location for the film stars to feel safe during filming and would bring in extra revenue for the town of Smithville. I have several local contacts for tractor rentals, utility vehicles, boats, trucks or anything that would be needed for movie props or usage for filming. Smithville also has a very small municipal airport/air strip. I hope to make my lake house the next hot spot for a movie or music video, as I truly believe the magic is here and the lake that surrounds it!!
