Bow Creek Ecology Park is a small park running alongside and underneath the Docklands Light Railway near Canning Town Station. The Bow Creek reach of the lower River Lea is a tidal estuary in Lower Lea Valley. A former iron works, shipyard and coal wharf is now a wildlife haven in the urban environment that’s won the prestigious Green Flag Park Award for four years running. The park features small streams and ponds, an outdoor classroom for school and youth groups, footpaths, observation points, seating and has views of the surrounding city.
