Thamesmead. London, ENG, SE28 GB / ENG
Thamesmead South is a large development that was originally built in the late 1960s to early 1970s. The striking buildings are almost entirely of concrete, blending cubist, brutalist, and modernist styles, with a number of high-rise blocks. The estate is largely split into an East and West side, separated by the park. There is also a boating lake and river as well as winding concrete paths, suspended walkways and garages.
