Location Description
Newquay’s wonderfully biodiverse ‘not so secret garden’ is a beautiful community-led 7-acre multifunctional space for people and for nature, designed to provide environmental education, employability training, community events and a space where visitors of all kinds can enjoy peace and sanctuary.
Visitors can explore 3 acres of young Cornish apple orchard; picnic in a forest garden; walk a beautiful fruit espalier; see what’s sprouting in the community grow space, An Lowarth; and meet the diverse animals that call it home.
The site is incredibly photogenic, particularly in the spring and summer months, when wildflowers, lavender and poppies dazzle vistas throughout the Orchard.
