25260 Piuma Rd. Los Angeles, CA, 91302 US / CA
Unique mid-century cabin perched hillside in the Santa Monica Mountains. Built in 1973, this post-and-beam house retains the look and feel of the 70s. There are 3 living spaces inside: the main room and loft, the master bedroom, and the guest room. The main room and loft is rustic, with wood panelling and floors, and a brick fireplace. Aside from the new wood floors, this room is unchanged since the 70s. The master is downstairs and is a large, airy room with white walls and its own deck that leads to the backyard. The guest suite is a cute little bachelor apartment around the side of the house. The outside decks have breathtaking views of Saddle Peak and wild Calabasas. Fun fact: Farrah Fawcett and Lee Majors rented the property in the 70s as a getaway from Hollywood, and Steve McQueen would come over after a night of drinking at the Saddle Peak restaurant nearby.
