The Beach Houses. Lelant, ENG, TR26 3DZ GB / ENG
These seaside holiday houses occupy a spectacular beach position overlooking St Ives Bay in Lelant, a pretty and unspoilt village near St Ives on the north coast of Cornwall. The 3 beach houses have no other neighbours. Dog friendly beach all year round. The area has historic links to important artists and writers, drawing their inspiration from the stunning views. Artist John Miller lived and painted here, capturing the location in his iconic beach and seascapes. The famous local author Rosamunde Pilcher recently described the walk to the house: "My favourite walk is at Lelant, down the road past the church onto the golf course. You see the bay and the colours, and it's never the same - it's just perfect." Fantastic facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, 2 private hot tubs and space for the whole group to get together in one place, as well as the opportunity for quiet time and privacy away from the crowd. These houses offer the perfect solution for multi-generational family holidays and all year round breaks with friends. All, of course, with wonderful views. All are very well equipped and comfortable with each house offering open plan living spaces. Both the Beach Bungalow and The Ferry House have an adjoining conservatory. Lots of choice for relaxing and curling up to watch a film or read a good book, if you can take your eyes away from the stunning sea views or stop yourself from stepping outside for a secluded moonlight beach walk. Only the sound of the waves to disturb you.
