Location Description

Kingston Guildhall is a beautiful, historic building with stunning period features suiting a variety of productions. It is a neo-Georgian red brick structure with varied rooms featuring both period and contemporary decor. The art deco lobby and staircase could double for a grand hotel or bank with marble floors. Upstairs, the main halls (the Queen Anne Suite and the Council Chamber) host events regularly and would suit many briefs, including for school halls and party venues. Downstairs, the ex-courtrooms are used for wedding and citizenship ceremonies. They boast traditional wood paneling. There are ancillary rooms leading from the main spaces which can be used for HMU, costume, greenroom space etc. There is space for generators, cranes, and tech parking onsite, as well as an underground car park for crew cars. Whilst the building is listed, dressing and furniture removal is permitted.
