Sanderstead Plantation is a large, 8.6 hectare area of mature woodland just 10 minutes drive from central Croydon (Park Lane). It features easily accessible pathways, a variety of trees - predominantly beech but also oak, horse and sweet chestnut and sycamore. It is noted for the bluebells which carpet the area in the spring.
